Some time ago, a woman was mauled by a polar bear, in a zoo, cannot remember if she died or was rescued. It is natural for bears to view humans as a food source. In Northern Italy, a few people got attacked and a couple consumed, to the extent that a mother bear was put down and another caged for life. Bears were reintroduced in the Dolomites about 40 years ago to the detriment of local life, as people are now too wary of walking, camping or just pick nicking in the forests.
It doesn't stop there. Some people do qualify for the Olympics of stupidity and can easily achieve gold in every discipline Thailand this time...
