Lol, I agree with the sentiment but I doubt there are any assets. I beleive we are building a jail for the Jamaican government so that we can deport their criminals rather than pay their room and board here
I think that the council were in a difficult spot and had to respond "no questions asked" until they had the time to properly investigate. They could not leave poeple homeless on the streets while they investigated. The true victims were traumatised and had lost everything including in many cases friends or family. Yes I agree that there was a lot of pressure to act fast to help the victims Max , and that was the priority , understandably . It seems poor however , that it took almost a year of accommodation and benefit payments , before the fraud was discovered .
