Just checking is there any issues for applying for the Spouse Visa while my wife and I are both in Philippines? Do I need to be in the UK for any reason before her ?
Do you mean that you are in the Philippines temporarily ie on holiday when applying for the visa or are you living there so not working in the UK. E.g. my wife and I got married in UK on marriage visit visa and I was working in UK. We returned to philippines to do spouse visa application and that went in whilst I as there on holiday and I then returned to UK while we waited for the results. I was therefore employed in UK before application and during process slthough both in philippines when application submitted. Scenario is different if in philippines and not working in UK when applying as have to met financial requirements bit differently.
Correct. Makes life a lot easier as guess you can stay there until visa granted and travel back together. Hope all goes well. Remember to check on savings requirement as they need evidence of it in cash for six months prior to application and not sure they cope if you move it around in that period. You will need accomodation in UK sorted as that is one of the other requirements.
