Sadly, We don't have that romantic proposal. LOL
But we're slowly preparing for all this documents. Pictures and messages is the only evidence we have.

We did marriage visitor visa with pictures of us at different events including stepson baptism with me as God parent, messages and email correspondence with registrar office.

Organised wedding and rings when we were both in the uk.

That said we had a number of visits documented together travelling to Cebu, coron and Singapore over a two year period including with step children to different locations.

We're targeting the long term stay thru fiance visa. But we don't have that ring when he proposed, it was just out nowhere before he left. Hope we still convince the authorities.

What if I am under fiance visa, and we plan for a honeymoon in Paris, I still need a visa to France, right?

Hi, we are getting married this month in the Manchester area and are a same sex couple ( legally anyway ). We have done this on a fiancee visa. My fiancee did it from the Cayman Islands as well not Phil. Its the same as a straight couple other than you can only certain venues for your wedding in the UK. You may not be able to go to Paris for your honeymoon if you intend to remain in the UK. If you enter on a fiancee visa, then get maried, in theory I think you fiancee visa becomes invalid. So whilst you may get the Schengen visa, I am not sure you will not have problems when you return to the UK until you have your Leave to Remain. Message me if you want more info, We completed our fiancee visa October last year.

Nah, we threw away that honeymoon idea. There still places in UK to do that. You said yours finished October, which month did you submit your application?

We submitted a few months beforehand and paid for Priority service but they lost the biometrics and we had to wait another month before we could get them done again so its a sorry tail that is not really helpful. We had to cancel our October Wedding and reschedule

I mean which month was it probably? Because we're setting timelines including the wedding...I understand there was a delay on yours.

Btw, does my partner need to get a certificate of no legal impediment? And I get a CENOMAR?

Only got married once in UK and never asked for either. Believe these are only a requirement for the philippines. CENOMAR may be useful for visa application but dont think it is a requirement.

Cost of priority service is £xxx. No guarantees on processing time with it either.

Was wrong on fee cost. It is indeed £573.

If your partner was married then he needs to have a copy of the divorce decree

Has anyone tried to apply a fiance visa here in Saudi Arabia?

Hi everyone just a quick inquiry. My fiancee have been renting the property for 8 years now and which will serves as our accommodation when the visa gets approved. I would like to ask what kind of documents that the landlord could give him if their is no Tenancy Agreement. He lives in the country and he just pays the rental every month without any contract to be renewed.

He can show his bank statement assuming he did not pay in cash. Also bills showing he lives there. He will need a council inspection certificate possibly as well.
