Good outlets for UK foods: Sainsburys, Tesco, Waitrose, M&S.. You can find some supplies of certain Filipino foods online such as: http://www.adastrapacific.co.uk/cakes-58-c.asp She will be perfectly able to cook plenty of Filipino dishes using UK ingredients. @BlueberryCheeseCake my wife has no problem using regular ingredients when she feels like cooking some Filipino dishes. She uses Kale rather than malunggay for some mungo dish she sometimes does and it tastes just the same. You can probably find an oriental supermarket near you that might do a few things like shrimp paste and so on.
