I am a Master Mariner and you should know that the emissions from 15 container ships equals the emissions of all the world's cars and each passenger on a 7 day cruise is reponsible for one ton of CO2. Older cargo ships are less fuel-efficient and produce more emissions regardles of whether they are diesel or steam powered.
