And why is she crossing the Atlantic - to attend some conference. Now here's a thought: instead of all these eco warriors burnishing their hypocrisy credentials by travelling to far away places in absolute luxury, why don't they hold these conferences in cyberspace with the participants tucked up in their own homes?

And the crew flying out to sail the boat back?
The whole trip for her raises many questions.
    Here is a few.
Nice Jacket she is wearing I wonder how it was made and transported?
How did she get to the UK?
How is she getting back from the States?
If there isnt a toilet on the boat and she has to use a bucket and chuck her number 2 over the side is that not polluting the ocean?

You obviouslly have never been to sea mr mitty:lol::lol::lol:

"Two weeks on the open seas is an endurance effort at the best of times, and with the Malizia II’s efficient design allowing no space for luxuries like toilets or a kitchen area, Thunberg’s resolve will be tested.

Instead of loos, the crew will be forced to use buckets, with little privacy afforded.

Sleeping quarters are also tight, and despite offering a modicum of privacy, might not be the ideal place to while away the hours – when the boat reaches a speed of 17 mph, the noise below deck becomes deafening."

apparently if you did all go for a stroll to the Philippines according to Google it would take you 133 days and you would cover over 11000 miles.
    interesting route Google maps out!

Wrong! I am a Master Mariner and you should know that the emissions from 15 container ships equals the emissions of all the world's cars and each passenger on a 7 day cruise is reponsible for one ton of CO2. Older cargo ships are less fuel-efficient and produce more emissions regardles of whether they are diesel or steam powered.

Preaching and making inane wisecracks - rather than addressing the issue - appears to be all you and your fellow travellers seem to be capable of. How pathetically puerile.
