Advice re child from previous marriage and visa application

    Yes we've talked this a few times, your leaving it now till your wife gets ILR aren't you?

    i think shes given up on the whole idea. if i try to show her postings on here about the subject she just flies off on one.

    the simple fact is the father does live near the child --in the same village. the boy lives with his aunt--his fathers sister. just how do we go about proving the father has no contact with his son ?

    my suggestion is the boy applies for a visit visa when hes a bit older--comes over for the school holidays. hes 13 now--so still got 5 years in which to decide what to do.

    Well, we attended the Sopra Steria offices in Chelmsford today and let them scan all the documents in for us. We paid for the super priority service and got our decision email about 90 minutes after we finished in there. Happy days.
