When I retire a 1dx mk ii should be about 1000 quid , even the R5 will be a bit more affordable by then, but unless most of my lenses fail there would be no reason to ever move systems over to the EOS R.
My 2nd wife bought me this citizen job for our 20th anniversary...2004. Its solar powered..and it tells the right time. Dunno about the date though..i forget how to adjust the leap year.
