Forty six years on my own at this point since I walked out on my parents, only had maybe four and a half years out of the last 21 years with any company at all and all of that was in the Philippines.

But I can understand your life is different and not having your family around will be hard.

I lived on my own after my divorce( about 4 years) got sort of used to it in the end, now I'm older not working full time so got a lot more alone time.
You have an inkling why they are away and I could not of my own accord of the trip be part of the trip.

Hmmm... nothing but work-work-work, awful loneliness eventually got the better of me, depression/diabetes... I'd go to the cupboard to get a cup for a drink and couldn't remember what I'd gone to the cupboard for! Jesus just horrible times

Relatively poor but happy living in a box with my crazy wife and children here in the Philippines.

Hate it if we're apart for a day!
