"Almost a million EU citizens working in Britain – many of them young, highly qualified and much sought-after by businesses – are either planning to leave the country or have already made up their minds to go as a result of Brexit, a study has found.

A survey of 2,000 EU workers in Britain by KPMG, the professional services firm, found that 55% of those with PhDs and 49% of those with postgraduate degrees were either planning to go or were actively considering it"

Does that mean it'll be easier for the UK graduates to get jobs?

One's I feel sorry for are the lower paid UK people who get pushed out of the jobs market and their wages pushed down by the constant influx of non-qualified EU citizens.

The point is, all the skilled workers who would have seen the UK as the place to take their skills will now see somewhere else as the place to go instead.

Personally I think it is such a shame.

I see what you mean, it's probably impossible to monetise immigration. Who would sponsor immigration anyway? Trump Towers PLC?

That's how statistics work Rob, and for the most part from a sample size of 1/500th would likely be pretty accurate to within a few percent either way, this is how Google works and makes it's money don't imagine statistical analysis is nonsense, it is a very powerful and divisive science these days.

And the Irish lad I keep mentioning in my work is a professional who feels the way that many in the quoted article feel, unvalued and unwanted in spite of the fact that he can probably remain her in the short term due to the interpretation of the old CTA agreement.
