8.8 Earthquake in Russia triggers Tsunami Alert !!!

Most of you probably just waking up to this - due to hit here this afternoon 1-3 ish ...

As mentioned before sea has been looking particularly high where we are - fortunately we're on the west coast of Leyte.

Given it only caused a wave of 30cm high in Japan I'm assuming (hoping) it won't be too bad here ... obviously we don't know how the repeating after shocks might affect things later:

"Don't panic, Mr. Mainwaring!"

Red Marker is the region where the quake started... obviously affecting US Japan and Haiwaii too
