Is the 2nd visa easier then the first one, as having trouble looking at whats needed to collect for it, as usually follow a checklist lol.
A required checklist of what documents are required is given to you at the end based on the answers you provide on the application. I can if you wish post on here a copy of our checklist submitted last year (successful)
Each checklist will be slightly different depending on applicants circumstance but in general follow this, also @UKDJ the last point on page 2 will clarify the point for you about joint mail proof of living at the same address
Congratulations thats super news the wife and i just had a baby for xmas so best xmas ever for us also now we will apply for the 2nd flr.. so the latest update you say no original documents are required just her passport ??
congratulations ! copies of documents are ok now..but i would still get bank stements stamped and signed if possible. only her passport itself has to be original.
Roger that.. so this BRP i remember when the wife originally entered the UK we had to pick up her BRP within the 1st weeks is this not accepted for the 2nd FLR ??
ha ha--yes--brp posted to you. you have to show ID and sign for it. in our case my wife was working on the day it was supposed to arrive. i had her passport all ready--and mine. a lanky shifty youth--hidden under a hood --showed up..thrust the envelope at me---then said to sign on one of those little screen things. never asked my name--or for any ID. so much for security.
Hello Mattecube, I also found your document check list very useful. I'm almost at that stage now and wish to know if you can actually click to submit the application after all of the documents required are available and ready to post off to Sheffield. At the moment we are short of the English Language Cert.,which is due next week and Biometrics which I believe can be arranged as part of the on line application. Thank you for your help. Terence Roberts.
What biometrics or do you mean the BRP card? At the end of the application before you pay I think is when you get the checklist don't forget to do the sponsorship form and the authorisation form these come up near the end too A2 or above for English
Mattecube, I have seen somewhere that a new set of biometrics, done at a participating Post Office, need to be submitted, as part of the documentation package. The English Language qualification will be ESOL Entry 2 (A2) which is on the Home Office SELT approved list and as such satisfies the requirement. The check list I believe is after you pay and is under the heading download. Terence Roberts.
