Shame about the weather. At some points in the afternoon there was just a handful of people watching the stage. Not like last year where I went home with sunburn. Like most of the white folk in attendance, I'd never heard of Wacky Kiray before. I can't pretend to have understood all of his routine but, fair play to the guy, he came across like a good, polished performer. Far better than I expected. Perhaps the stand up scene in the Philippines is better than I give it credit. The cheeky git picked on me for a brief part of his routine and then thought (without jest) that my wife was pregnant! The rest of the stuff I suppose is the same year on year. Halo Halo at a fiver a pop. The performances seemed a bit cliquey with the same old faces from previous years. Probably easiest that way for the organisers. Whatever, it was a decent afternoon. But a long slog if you arrive early. Getting there for 2pm would be fine.
