Hiya, Just wondering.. Is there any events going on with members of this forum like meeting up to have drinks etc in London or anywhere else? It would be nice to meet you all face to face
Hello @simplenny I think there have been a couple of meetings over the years - that last being a couple of months back Also talk of meeting for Xmas shopping which, I would guess, the ladies go shopping and the men go to the pub. Welcome to the forum.
I have been trying to get in touch with some Filipino groups around birmingham, but I am being totally and blatantly ignored..... I shall be slightly more forceful next time............
That sounds about right. Haha. Thanks @Howerd @Aromulus It's quite difficult to keep up with threads here to be honest. It would have been easier if we have a Facebook page or something.

@simplenny No it is not active and I don't think admins on this forum have access to the Facebook oage as the founder and owner of this site died a few months ago. This is also the reason why the site had to move from .co.uk to .com
There was a meet up a couple of months back - that was after the death of Kuya (Sean) His wife did attend that meet up. I hope the Xmas shopping meet up happens as I want to be there with my wife, who arrives in the UK later this month.
I was made admin in facebook by Kuya. I post things relevant from time to time, but the main purpose of that page is for re-direction to here. I do admit that work has curtailed my pc time, and when I am away from home, my "smart" phone ain't that smart anymore.... Going back to the Meet-up idea, I have been trying to find some Filipino organized event , Barrio Fiesta style, somewhere in the Midlands, and as next years dates haven't been released yet, I am stumped... as soon as I get an inkling of something going on, I will post it in a thread and take it from there...
