I see people are proposing we "Clap for Boris."

I thought this was a joke. But it's serious.

I will wish the guy a full recovery, but that's it. These performing sea lions who are clapping on command for whatever the hot topic of the day happens to be.

How kind of you to look down at the majority of the UK population as performing sea lions. Hows the weather up there in your ivory tower?

The majority of the population will not clap for de Pfeffel Johnson. Absurd to suggest this even the slightest bit possible.

I sincerely hope the man makes a full recovery. If nothing else, he needs to be held accountable for his actions.

As for the NHS, I will not clap for my local NHS Trust after they called me a liar!

Let's hope you or your family don't require NHS care in the future then.
The NATIONAL effort by the NHS is to be applauded not localised based on indifferences.

Why? I pay for it every month through tax and many members here will have paid even more via additional NHS fees. I am entitled to what I pay for.

The one time I relied on the NHS and I was let down and called a liar.

I think that clapping is all very well and good, but I'm not sure what proportion of those people would be prepared to pay extra tax required so that the NHS is not underfunded.

Anyway, back on topic, Trump and America are praying for the PM.

Trumps prayers must be getting heard as Boris by all accounts is recovering well.

I have mixed opinion on the NHS. Mixed experiences. They have been great with me on the one hand but let me down on the other. I am still a believer and grateful for all that is done. But I have learned that there is room for improvement in areas where that improvement might easily be met, where a much healthier public is achievable. Only a minority within the NHS are making these changes when those changes could be applied comprehensively nationwide.
