So..apart from the kilometres being wrong.. what else about it is a lie ?

I don't think I have ever said you lied, bigmac, but I do think you have consistently promoted conspiracy theories and, quite frankly, they are an unnecessary distraction when the best way through these disturbing times is to remain positive.

There have been 8 deaths in Beijing for example.

As we know, China is not very forthcoming with truths on coronavirus fatalities.

    It's full of lies Malcolm.

My Scottish niece lives and works there and has done for more than 5 years and there sure as f**k is a lockdown, these stories are just sheer made up bullshit.

I would believe the information and sentiments from family members over any report.

    2 things.
i didnt just get it plonked on my facebook by pertsons with an agenda.

the report was actually shared to me by my cousin--in Birmingham, a year younger than me--and a retired doctor. he is no fool.

i also posted the exact thing on another forum ive been on for 10 years. its nothing to do with immigration--but has many thousands of members worldwide--with the majority being from north america. the site owner is british--but settled in canada.

the post has had several likes--and no one has poo poo'd it--so far. this is because a lot of its members dont trust the chi-com government and take this whole thing as a serious and intended threat to the west.

just because you dont like something--or disagree with it--theres no need to discredit it...or me.

Malcolm I'm not getting at you, but this is just one example of countless pieces of misinformation that spread around the world continuously, it's modern gossip nothing more, I despair that anyone gets taken in by this kind of stuff.

Negros Island, an extension to the lockdown now 30th April. Due to the idiots who don't know how to social distance themselves. There are lines of people waiting at checkpoints a few feet away from each other. The kids off school playing together in the fields, Men drinking out of the same glass in groups of 5 or more. Could go on.
Then wife gets a pass to go into town for shopping and get money, Tuesday afternoon, thursday and Sunday morning. Holy week this Thursday, friday so wife can't get food till next tuesday afternoon.

More fun in da philippines. So they say.

The lack of social distancing is a recipe for disaster and it looks like it will cause hunger over there, Jim.
Hope you can get some food soon.
Can you drive into town or even away from town to buy vegetables?

Malcolm you are one of the most helpful people here, but it's your choice if you leave, I would be very sad for you not to be around.
