I cannot describe the emotions and costs. But I dont care. My family will have a better life now and the credit card companies can whistle for their money.

    Congratulations!!
The wait is so painful, when this all started with the fiancé visa the stress it caused was unreal. We go for the bio thing tomorrow and then its an average of 8 week wait, it is not pleasant but hopefully experience will take the edge off.
We had to pay for an appointment which is 3 weeks after I submitted the documents online, all the free slots are full and they only seem to open a few weeks at a time therefore they will always be full, its a business decision to get more money out of those put under stress by the system. I just booked the first open slot I could find, time and place were irrelevant.

BRP came today for FLR(M), 6 weeks after biometrics appointment, quicker than expected, very relieved. ILR next!
We did not get a decision letter, should I chase this or is it not required?

    Congratulations :)
The decision letter sometimes comes after the BRP so I’d wait another day or two.

I think you'll get this in the next day or two. My wife got the decision letter just a day before the BRP came, although I'm pretty sure they're almost sent the same day. Wouldn't surprise me that DX got to you before Royal mail could!
