Yes I mentioned that Mattecube. Didn't know it was frowned upon. Was looking for an alternative name but you know...

No I don' know......beggers belief actually that you can refer if I recall correctly your script
(And I've had enough of yellow (referring in your paragraph to Thais etc)) comes across as racist nasty and indicative of a) you nickname and b) in my view your smarmy postings. So now you know!

It was addressed as soon as it was noticed John. The OP was notified. I think it's best if we just move on.

Really sorry if that caused offence guys! Like it's just a word that people have thrown at me and usually I tell them to quit saying that.

Time will tell for my story. I'l have a look around the forums but not got a lot of input yet as I've only been to the Philippines once.

Anyone been to the Fili-Fest in Surrey? I went once, really disappointed it was cancelled last year :(

If the warning is heeded then that satisfies from a purely forum perspective. Anything anyone does outside of the forum then that is for that person to deal with.

EDIT: The guy has apologised. It won't happen again.

Ah! One thing I must add.

I still live at home with parents and saving up a deposit for a mortgage next year with help from parents.

This is one reason why I did such an extensive post originally.

i cant help thinking youre trying to run before you can crawl with this relationship. what attracts you to asian girls ?

    It's hard to explain mate.

Honestly I was into Asian girls big time 2013-2016
Last year 2017 I had a few Polish birds (I got 1/4 PL roots) Few Thai and a mix of others so It's not directly centralised to just Asian anymore.

I think I just found a blood nice girl and the whole cultural/half way round the world relationship has got me really thinking can I do it for someone that I think I love or could love in the future.

I feel totally held back "Crawling" as you say as I need to be on my feet first.

Some people have the F**K it attitude and they go 2 feet in and set it up.

    Hi Boozi,

To me, you seem like a thoughtful chap who has many experiences already in Asia and that is all good in my book.

My advice would be to try to visit her again and see if love blossoms.
If she is not pushing you, that is a big positive.

I met the lady who became my wife in the Philippines and we decided to marry in Cebu province.

It cost a lot of money for her to move to the UK and to progress right through to her finally getting her British passport. You will need deep pockets and a lot of patience to achieve your goals.

Follow your heart and try to visit this forum for help, you will need help as you progress. Best of luck.

    Thanks for the advice aposhark.

Can you PM me some figures if this is something you can't write on forums?

It is not something to keep a secret, Boozi.
I believe you will be in the ballpark of £15,000 but we married in 2008.
This includes flights, hotels, visas etc.
Of course, some people can do it a lot cheaper and others a lot more expensive.

Sharks ££ figure is spread over the first five years of your relationship.

    Crickey..........!!!!!!!!!!!
We married in Feb 2007, anniversary in a few days btw, and I must confess that all in all I didn't spend more than 5k........
And that for 3 return flights, hotel stays, wedding + hotel reception for what it seemed millions of people... And finally the Mrs one way flight over........ Admittedly I did not pay a penny for the various Family permits because of the EU rules.

    bigmac, that is not correct.
The estimate I gave was over a longer period.

    Hi Dom.
I did tally everything up one day and the amount took into account everything, not just the expenditure for visas and such-like.
My journey through all the shenanigans was different to yours and indeed, everyone's financial outlay is and was different.

    Happy anniversary to you both!
