The correct conclusions are often the most obvious.

And the Topic was ? any party that propose a increase in minimum income requirements, i will not be able to vote for. I find it difficult to believe this has any significant affect on overall immigration figures, but it does stop a few genuine cases of partners wanting to be with there loved ones, and i really feel for them.
But of course Mrs May knows that the headline will help her get, and retain a few more UKIP votes, and she knows those votes will help her increase her majority, she almost convinced me to vote Tory but with this Manifesto commitment she has alienated me.

Most of the right wing Tories on here don't care if the rules are changed - just so long as they managed to get their loved ones in under the old rules - or are sufficiently affluent not to care.

Like tuition fees in England they're happy to pull up the drawbridge behind them.

Why would we expect anything else from the Party of privilege and inequality?

I don't care you are right, my views on immigration far outweigh my views on the financial requirement, I'm honest about it where other people are not.

People should learn to keep away from the keyboard and get themselves a British girl if they do not wish to incur heavy visa fees and financial requirements, visa fees and requirements will only go higher, they will never fall.

These dating websites people use should come with a Government warning, "only register if you have the time and money" :)

Why do I get the impression that if your beloved Theresa suggested slaughter of the first born you'd quickly be on here lauding such a progressive policy?

Timmers' views and opinions might stem from the fact that he was a life-long Labour Party supporter who discovered that his party had ceased to represent him.

Once Brexit is done and dusted I will return to the Labour party if it still exists and has found itself a leader that is electable :)

I am only lending my vote, like so many others.

Didn't China have quite a progressive policy on couples only being able to have one child, we don't hear much of that do we? :)

I think this kind of policy is against my human rights to be with someone I choose to be with. It treats people like farm animals. We are all people and should have the freedom to live our own lives.
Some people moan about migration but look at their contribution to this country. Just look at the NHS staff.
I hope our next government is Labour so we can reverse these ridiculous and unfair rules.
