That's true I'm guessing you know how hard its is being away from your other half. I was there for 7 months but the problem with this is I can't work there. But we plan on getting married there. Were only 21 and 20 and its hard route for us. Oh dear aah got to laugh
Can I ask can we get around this thing they wanted with the application where they wanted a letter of leave from her current employer the reason we cant give this is because she will quit (which I know is a no no now) she has contracts for when she returns but these wasn't even taken into consideration which I don't get.
The employer doesn't need to know that she will be quitting once she got a visa. They will just give her a certificate of employment that she is CURRENTLY their employee. They wouldn't ask more. Then once she get the visa, file a resignation or AWOL.
I had done my tourist visa for UK thrice (2014,2015 and 2016), and now am in Manila working on my Spouse Visa. I provided all original docs for Tourist visa reqmt: - House titles, properties - Original bank statements (not printed from internet banking) - Average daily balance certification from bank (branch manager signature affixed on it) -Original birth certificate - Investments certification -NBI Clearance -Employment letter ( permanent employee, also includes the kind of work she is doing and how relevant it is to the company) -6 months payslip -Sponsor letter -Proof of address as to where I will be staying at Again, above documents were submitted in original form and photo copied as well. Re apply and be particular with the bank statements and of course the employment status.
Then note a two or three weeks leave from work. In the application, state that she will be staying for that short period of time only. She will still get a 6 month visa.
im sorry im new to visa since ive not needed to mess with them. Wouldn't the immigration then just ask after her 2 weeks is done, why haven't you leaved? That she stated a 2 week leave. Cause they do follow ups..
there lies the challenge.. unless she can negotiate with employer to provide her a letter for a month's leave (or even less) though she intends to stay in the UK for 3 months. you wanted to have the letter as proof, so secure it. once she gets the visa, she can then resign. she'll be given a 6 months visa anyway.
