    Sorry, how or where can I get biometric information notification/enrolment letter? Applying is really a headache, so sorry to bother you all this much, the problem with the Guidelines, it gives us lots of things to read and it's really confusing. I just want to have a clear steps how to proceed with my application.
    Me and my husband gathered evidence and went through our application(filled forms). My fiance visa on passport will expire on Feb 24. I have just read online that we need a notification/enrolment letter for biometrics to Post office before I proceed with my picture and fingerprints. So, how or where can I get this? Should I send an email to UKVI? Then, right after my biometrics at Post office, is that the same day as well I could submit my application for FLR(M) or I should wait notification from UKVI before I submit my application?

    Follow the steps below;

    1. Submit completed FLR(M) application by post making sure you pay the NHS surcharge (reference number for surcharge will be given on payment)
    2. The UKVI will contact you by letter asking you to attend a participating Post Office to have your biometrics done (biometrics will automatically be registered with UKVI). The letter will be specific to you probably with a barcode.
    3. Wait for the decision (could be 2 - 3 months) - you will receive BRP in the post with your FLR(M) paperwork.

    Bingo! :)

    If you do not want to make a postal application you can opt for the premium service where (about £400 more) you submit the application in person and get the decision the same day, during which time you will have your biometrics done.

    Great! Thanks, that is clear now. I thought I could do the biometrics and submission of my documents(FLR M application) both at the same day at Post Office like what I did at VFS in UAE. Thank you so much for all the help, hope I could get these all done asap and won't have a hard time looking for a job after having permit. Have a great weekend. Cheers!

    Good evening!
    I am so sorry to bother again, this is just odd, we have just found out that IELTS rule were updated on Nov 2015. Can anyone please help me, my case this time is, my IELTS-GENERAL TRAINING was taken on 10th Jan 2015 in Abu Dhabi- UAE and this is valid for 2 yrs. What surprised me is when I went through reading IELTS, they have this new rule that if IELTS were taken on or before April 2015, this is only valid until Nov. 2015. I am going to apply for FLR(M) premium service this month and I think it is ridiculous to take Life skills IELTS exam just because they have a new rule. To think that IELTS-General training exam is even more difficult than A1 Life skills, I don't think it should really matter and make me take their new IELTS Life skills Test. Any idea about this matter?
