how long before you got your visa?

i submitted my application (spouse visa) last monday (nov 16)...i know it will be a month or 2 before i get the results...

tell me how long was your waiting time before you got your visa

Maybe November is a good time to apply, I'd have thought that a lot of people applied earlier to be in the UK for Christmas, anyway, good luck with the application

Our visa application took 50 days (weekends included).

It's best to expect the results for up to 2-4 months. That's what the VFS officer told me last year but got my Settlement for Marriage (Fiancée) Visa in 20 calendar days.

I feel you. Had 2 Christmases missed with my loved one. Not long now, you'll get there.

Ours was two months back in 2008 but it does seem to have speeded up since then.

We got our spousa visa 30 working days after biometrics appointment.

35 working days.

Mine was 28 calendar days after biometrics, plus 16 days waiting for courier to knock on my door with my documents delivered.

Good luck to us! I submitted my application for spouse visa last oct 27, up until now I haven't got any email or so. Im a bit worried now. Its this waiting thing that is a burden.. Uuuuugggghhhhh!

Ours took 35 working days, and the range is 5-60 days, with half of all visas processed by thirty days
