Is it naff to go after the sister of a woman that you have had a relationship with?

  1. Yes its naff; don't even think about it.

  2. It's OK if the girl dropped you / cheated on you, and you allow reasonable time. Not otherwise

Some would say "yes" under all circumstances.

Some would say "let "x" weeks/months go by"

    What does the panel say?@

Not a good idea, although I know a guy who did just that and ended up marrying the lady.

I think most girls would find it very humiliating indeed to have an ex starting to date their sister.

Comes down to moral judgement in my humble opinion :)

    I dunno.

I have a friend who has been thinking of just this (he broke up with the lady a couple of years ago) but who has not done so on just the grounds that Timmers gives (humiliating to the lady concerned - who happens to be the older sister)

It is something that could split a family, its likely not to be a smooth transition that's for sure.

I was just thinking if that happened to me, it sent a little shiver down the back of my spine as I put myself in that very position for a brief moment.

Its a real poser for some, but for me its a definite no no, but that's just me :)

If the two sisters involved are ok with it, I can't see anything wrong.

Henry VIII did it. Jane Boleyn followed by Anne Boleyn.

If it's a Filipina, you may end up dead.

Look elsewhere instead of ruining people's lives through your selfishness. There are millions of women out there.

    Bad decision.

Face, how you are seen, is very important in Asian society.

Depends on the moral fibre and character of the girl(s) in question too.

Exactly, or the lack of moral fibre, it really doesn't bear thinking about.

It is certainly an interesting question and one I don't know the answer to.

I suppose it is a step up in degree from going after a lassies best friend after you have gone out with her?

I know that 40 years ago when I had hormones flooding my vains at toxic levels, I was madly in love (infatuated) with two lassies at the same time and they both knew it (best friends they were), however neither one was interested in me but I guess not being focused on just one of them didn't exactly help either :D

They did remain good friends of mine for many years, but it was a totally unrequited 'love' err... no... you mean infatuation James :frust: :D

I honestly don't know and have abstained from voting :) but it must happen in this world quite a lot, a lot of families must deal with this all the time?

If they're Filipinas, then your ex would likely kill you and her sister. Filipinos, especially the women are very jealous people. You might end up in the news, but don't worry, we'll testify for you. Hahahhahahaha...

But seriously, if all you want is to get in the sister's pants and it's not love or anything, then text/call her. Then bring her to a motel, do the deed, and leave!

Never talk to them ever again. What you are thinking about ruins family and relationships. Family is very, very important in Filipino culture.

So yeah, think carefully before you decide to pursue this.

Had a mate that was caught with his new wife`s sister.. Believe it was a revenge tactic for his "wife" not turning up for the honeymoon!!
He had to run after an injury with a sharp knife to the other side of the country and never saw either of them again.

No. Not a good idea. You will tear the family apart. Better find another girl who are not related.
