A cost cutting mistake put right according to this extract

In the years that have passed, the Fryscraper has been rendered harmless, first by setting up a scaffolding structure to absorb the concentrated ray, then by making alterations to the building. The horizontal louvered windows that were initially part of the design and that would have prevented this from happening were lost in the cost-cutting process

If you look at the post beneath I said it wasn't a euphemism, because I figured some wag would miss the L out of Clock and make a funny ;)
Had lunch watching the trains coming and going, you would have enjoyed it, different perspective. Screenshot_20220119_211325.jpg

    The Shard?

Didn't realise it was right next to London Bridge station.

Yup, right below my table, normally I sit on the other side for the city views, but it was lunchtime and almost fully booked. Screenshot_20220119_220109.jpg

We went to Canary Wharf a few years ago but looking at recent photos(Google map) I think an update visit is required!

Canary wharf isn't all that to be honest mate, I lived on the Isle of dogs for just over a year, hated the place, but brick Lane is the best place in London for curry and salted beef bagels, very rough area around poplar.

That's the one mate :like: I was in Fulham last week and got a takeaway at the only kebab shop in the country endorsed by Jamie Oliver, Kebab Kid.
