Ok, so will be looking to apply for a spouse visa later in the year.

I have a couple of questions, hopefully someone here has been in a similar situation.

My wife to be lives in Singapore, so not sure how that changes things. We plan to marry in Singapore, and she will be there when we apply and we don't have plans to visit the Philippines before she moves here to the UK. She has a degree taught in English from a Philippines University.

How do we go on with TB testing, and what about embassy visits etc?

if she has been away from the Philippines for more than 6 months en bloc a TB test is not required

Well that's one less thing to think about. She's lived in Singapore for 7 years.

Hope you don't mind me using your thread:

Can you apply for more than one visa at a time?

I was thinking can I submit a tourist visa and a spousal visa application together and then take my wife to the UK from the Philippines for a holiday before she obtains the spousal visa so avoiding the need to return to the Philippines to submit the Spousal application later?

    no point.
she would have to submit her visit visa first--wait for the passport to be returned--then submit again for the settlement visa--and be home for it to be returned again.
