The standard reply you will get from any truck driver is "without trucks there would be no food in the shops, clothes in the shops blah blah." Or a cruder way " don't like the sh1t well stop buying sh1t"
A more appropriate question in this instance and to any other eco warrior who perpetually wants to ram home a point is
" when are you going to get a job that doesn't conflict with your beliefs" for example don't be a truck driver go pick veg in the fields!

Retrain, get a job more sympathetic with your beliefs, surely it's not that difficult?

Analogy,a spiritual pastor, preaching against the sins of the flesh, and resisting man's many vices to his flock, yet in his free time throws his cassock into the cupboard and heads off to the local strip joint to drink, fornicate and snort coke from ladies of dubious morals pert naked breasts, all funded for by his gullible paritioners o_O do as I say, not as I do, for I do not lead by example :D

I take full responsibility as there's only me on the road.
Without me and many thousands of others, you'd be eating nothing and your clothes would be getting extremely tatty.:lol::lol:

You really are a confused, self-contradictory 'do-as-I-say-not-as-I-do' trucker, aren't you! And your toxic trucking and that of your mates in Britain do not touch my life even remotely. Why? Because you don't drive your trucks anywhere near where I live - not even in the same country!

So the laugh's on you! :p

Over population is the biggest threat to the planet (people got to eat where do think they grow all the food?)the planet does not have the resources to to keep the population at the level it is today.

The Dead Sea is almost gone not because of climate change but because its being used to power industry and agriculture.

Want to cut your carbon footprint? Dont have kids, not only do you lower your carbon foot print but because you kids will not exist they will not have a carbon footprint.

So stop f@#king to keep on trucking:like:

If I took a lot of what you write seriously, it would bother me, but I don't so it's water off a duck's back
Somethings are interesting but others are not so.
I read what you write because you can, at times, be very well informed.
I ignore one person who is extremely flakey but I don't ignore another who is highly objectionable with racist tendencies.

Goodness. That's a very different tone of writing compared to your thread where you spent £2.5k on Christmas gifts which your hubby had given to you in order to cover visa fees!

I'm fairly ambivalent on climate change.

Despite what Breitbart commentators say, I think it's clear that mankind has drastically affected the planet. However, I don't think the situation is so dire as predicted.

Where I mostly disagree with you is this ultra moral stance you suggest whereby anyone who so much as farts outdoors is responsible for climate change therefore cannot campaign on this issue without being labelled a hypocrite.

Here we go ... kindly provide a link to a message posted by me in which I make such a statement.

Every time an animal exhales, it contributes to greenhouse gases and possibly to a greater extent than if it farts which can contain oxygen (exhaled breath generally doesn't). The average human exhales 500 litres of Carbon Dioxide per day which equates to 1 kg or 25.55 metric tons over 70 years. Are you going to do your bit for the planet by stopping breathing? Me neither.

Farting and breathing are normal everyday inoffensive activities: trucks belching toxic black smoke are anything but inoffensive being injurious to our and the planet's health. Anyone who makes money from driving trucks and who preaches about climate change is a hypocrite, plain and simple.
