Yes I was looking it up just recently, I remember it being on around 5pm when I was 4, one of my favs.
It had some quite advanced concepts for a kids space program in the 60s, firstly the notion of a drive and a meson particle drive at that, inertia blocking because of high G acceleration, and a space ship that didn't look like a rocket, probably a lot of the science came from E. E. Doc Smith's works, I did not remember it being as sophisticated as that Lots of nonsense as well of course but it was for kids
