reading the attatchment--i see it has changed slightly.

for a married partner the sub heading used to be "spouse"...as in settlement :spouse.

its definitely NOT marriage--that is for what is unofficially called the fiance visa.

its not civil partnership--that is for unmarried couples living together for at least 2 years in a relationship akin to a marriage.

so--in my opinion--and thats all it is---i think you need to put husband, if thats how the applicant regards himself.

Hi @fithiye2003 How did the appointment go? Would you be able to shed us some lights on the whole spouse visa application made here in the Philippines?

Hi Mark, have you processed your CFO certificate/sticker yet? Does the CFO people accept the Marriage Certificate you received from the British Embassy as is? or did you have it Authenticated by the Philippine Consulate(not sure of that is possible as same sex marriage is not recognized by the Philippine law)

    TIA

Hello Mark0317. I noticed that you were directed to the new UK Visa application now this can no longer be done on visa4uk. May I ask if you have actually now used this application form?
My fiancee was directed to this new form and has now nearly completed it. My concern is that no GWF number has yet been issued. I am wondering if the GWF is allocated after payment is made. I'd be grateful if you could let me know what your experience was with this. Thankyou

Hi @Manage . Sorry I have not been active on this site lately. Yes what you have commented is the new process on applying for a spouse visa and Visa4Uk is no longer utilized. I am unable to answer your question as I won't be applying for an spouse visa later next month. Their are also another reliable facebook group that I am a part of where you can asked your query and answer them real time. Let me know if you want to be added.

Hello Mark0317. Thanks for taking the time to reply.
Actually I can now answer my own question as my fiancee submitted her visa application last week. The GWF number and bar code are both issued just before payment is made when you click on select either standard or priority service.
    So that's cleared that up.
However, with visa4UK in addition to the online application you also had to complete Appendix 2VAF4A form by hand but I can't find any reference to this with the new application form so I'm not sure if that still needs to be done. Any thoughts?
Thanks for the offer of your Facebook group but my fiancee is already on a Facebook chat group about visas and she has put a question out about this. No one has answered yet so maybe it is all to new and no one has experience.
    Good luck with your application.

Hi @Manage Did she apply for a Fiancee Visa and eventually get married in UK? or are you guys already married and applying for a Spouse Visa? Does that mean that you did not submit an Appendix 2 Form? When is her Biometric?

I am right in the middle of the application process: my immigration solicitor has advised me that the Home Office has of late been inundated with reams and reams of papers documenting relationships, photographs and social media screenshots. To the extent that they have issued advice (although not documented publicly) that they do not want any more than 6 pages of photographs and no more than 4 pages of screenshots. So that's exactly what I am going to give them. I have also created an Excel index describing the documents I am uploading so the case officer can scan (no pun itended) what he needs to see. Hope this helps!
