I'm everyone please help me.. Especially those who have done ROA.

We made a decision to apply for right of abode for our 2 children. As it takes few months to get British passport, still a cross-finger when will this be approved. We will surely apply British passport when we get to UK. But anyway, I need your help to please sort this documents I prepared in case I forget one or more.

    Application form
    Applicants Birth Certificate (NSO Certified)
Parents' full birth certificate (British certificate and mine NSO certified)
Baptismal Certificate (Original both the kids)
    Certificate of no marriage/Divorce certificate
    Passport copy(us 4)
Passport Stamp trip to Philippines (Photocopy of my partners passport stamp )
Letter from Granny and Grandad (maybe)
Old passport of our son from last travel.
Pictures of the kids with daddy around from birth till present
Medical Certificate from where they are born
Flying ticket from previous flight ( only our son)
    Health Card(immunization card)
Good moral from school ( both kids)

    1. Do my partner need to certified the copy as we are going to photocopy both the kids documents?
    2. Is there anything I need to add?
    3. Is there anything I need to do next?

Anyone who can help me, TIA

Are you applying for a letter to confirm the children's immigration status? Right of abode

Why are you bothering with Right of Abode for your children? You have to submit exactly the same documentary evidence and it can take just as long to obtain as a first child's Passport. In the case of my children, I received their Passports well within the three months indicated by the Passport Office when I applied. Per child, a Passport costs £49 (plus a courier fee) whereas ROA costs £372 (plus courier fee) - it's a no-brainer!

What's a cin certificate? What's it to do with marriage.
The only cin certificate I know is to do with a corporate identity number.
First time it's ever come up I was married in the Philippines and we were not asked for one.

As I read comments from others' experiences, it seems that ROA is much quicker than British passport. So we decide to go ROA and then when we get to UK apply for British passport.

He means "CNI" which is the abbreviation for "Certificate of No Impediment (to marry)" which can be supplied by a Registry Office (for a fee!) and is needed to prove status where the British partner is legally single and not divorced or widowed.

The ROA is issued in the same place as Passports and applications are checked with exactly the same rigour as for a Passport. They therefore take the same time to process but cost nearly ten times more.

You will NOT be able to apply for your children's first British Passports from within the UK.
