Well the weather is lousy. Lots of local flooding here so with that I thought I post a picture of the last relatively decent weather we had. The picture isn't of any quality but there a 3 amazing pieces of content within it. Talking about impossible and UK summers.. Justin Bieber just challenged an evil cult member to a cage fight. https://www.yahoo.com/entertainment/justin-bieber-tom-cruise-ufc-fight-092218279.html
Can it be calculated scientifically I wonder, using the photo, Google maps, and the parameters of your camera lens? That would be something to take your mind off the weather.
It's the cold that's bugging me, but yes after last year the reservoirs can probably do with the water. Was that on approach to Liverpool or Manchester, just seemed quite low for a commercial passenger flight so I was wondering if you were in a Helicopter or a light aircraft or if it was a drone shot?
Yea cold for the time of year isn’t it. It was a drone shot, I’m guessing it was no more than 130ft, The JSON would provide all the flight parameters but not the exact height at the time of the photo as the photo count isn’t part of that data, or at least I don’t recollect seeing that info.
Ah interesting so these devices have a JSON interface, that reminds me I still haven't done that WebApi thing for you, so does it store it locally on the drone or can you read the data wirelessly?
I think the data is stored both locally (on the drone) and in the cloud if you enable that. You can request flight data from the cloud too. You can utilise that flight data into visual telemetry on the actual video (post production). Height, speed, tilt, yaw, battery percentage etc. I tried it once but once you’ve done it, you’ve experimented and you try other things. There’s an SDK available, I’ve not looked at that but you can do things like stream the live video (maybe to multiple devices for example - you already see the live video on your phone as your flying of course).
It's 7:30 pm here in Davao. Sat on the porch enjoying my second G&T, expecting wifey to call me in for dinner soon. Tomorrow no doubt will be at 32C again.
Got the builders in. Raining on and off all day here in Pangasinan. Not too hot though. Been hovering around 36C recently.
Just started light drizzle here in Ubud. High tropical humidity and temperature of 27C according to Google. That's 80.6F for my Mum, or 300.15K for the physicists among us.
I was in Vienna yesterday, beautiful day, sweltering, flew into heathrow last night to light showers, today is gloomy.
