Will reducing energy consumption help the environment and help reduce climate change?

I dont know. What i do know is the energy suppliers ramp up the prices they charge to counter any usage savings we struggle to achieve.

My good friend Mr Google tells me that a standard 58g Mars bar contains 1095 Kilo joules of energy.

Increasing your energy consumption by eating a couple of extra Mars bars might give you the needed boost to clean up the environment and plant a couple of trees.

So increasing energy consumption is what actually helps the environment and helps to reduce climate change. :like:

I don’t know either, that is way i post the question. I would like someone to either tell me it does or it does not help the environment. What I can prove is that saving energy saves money.

I burned 3 wheely bins of rubbish tonight because the politicians will not pick it up even though I pay them to do so..I do this each week.
If you have any good ideas how I can convert a white hot rubbish burning oil drum into a useful power conversion tool at a good price to help me save the planet..Just say the word.
I did think about wrapping copper pipe around it to heat my Jacuzzi but alas..No copper pipe available here...Any ideas?

OK..That,I will promise to never do again here.
Is it OK if I turn on the A/C for a maximum of 3 hours a day if I find that I am suffering from heat stroke, or is that a no go?
If it`s OK and I can put the A/C on, I promise to check the sea level the next day at exactly 4 foot from the same coconut tree at high tide..
If it comes in even 2 foot more on any given day I hereby promise to reduce my A/C usage by 30 minutes.
Don`t worry..We can beat this global warming thing together.

My 3rd summer here and never used an air-con, fans only. Electric is expensive here.
