In process of doing settlement visa application for my wife and two stepsons. Wanted to run a few things past people to check Im not missing anything so thread will grow over next day or two. For sons as they are dependents they have separate visa application as child of settled person. For their supporting documentation I'm planning on refering to my wife's documents and visa application with a few elements specific to them. I believe I have to fill out seperate appendix 2 for all three although only one set of supporting documents in my wife's application. Grateful for confirmation this is correct. For the sons I was planning on including: NSO Birth certificate NSO Death certificate for father of child 1. Father of child 2 is not detailed on birth certificate. Pictures of wife and child 1 when visiting grave of his father. Took them long time ago for him to show he visited the grave as he did not really understand at the time but now thinking may be useful to ram home message that his father is dead to ukvi. Correction of mothers name decision which is recorded on NSO birth certificate - wife does not think this is necessary but I know that peviously this has been missed when dealing with officialdom and think it has to be addressed up front. Baptism certicate for one where I am god parent. Pushes message I have been involved for a long time Scan copy of boarding passes for flights with mother and children. Do I need the original boarding passes ? May be irrelevant as both visited the UK when we got married and where there living at my house for just short of six months. Phil health member data record showing one then both children with mother as single as history of looking after health Uk family court parental responsibility agreement with me as step parent and wife as other parent. Agreement for child one includes fact that father is deceased on the agreement. Affadavit of sole responsibility for both children. From I've read does not carry much weight but guessing it cant hurt. Thinking of including some pictures from mothers pack with both of us in uk on travel visa and some screenshots previously from facebook video messaging including them. Any extra thoughts appreciated.
Looks good and Good Luck. Tie them all in one big bundle so to keep them togeyther I would copy the important docs into all three and as you say refer to mums file.
Will look at copying the payslips and bank statements. Reason was not planning on putting those in is that they will be copies as only have one set of originals. Do UKVI require copies of all packs ? Keep hearing that they send back copies and seems pointless if they scan everything anyway.
I have edited my post slightly i wouldnt copy bank statements and wage slips nust important docs. Others may say just refer to mums file for all except child related stuff,so it will be your call really

Wife thinks I should add so useful to have additional input. I think Family responsbility agreement (have to go to court in UK to break), pictures in UK at various locations and times as detailed on facebook page and Pension Nominations (wanted to make sure wife and kids were ok in case anything happened to me so did a while ago - Sept 17 was update on benefit split but can't find previous documentation or would go back furthur) are much better than that at demonstrating relationship as have legal and financial consequences. Any thoughts on anything I may have missed in addition to the kids stuff above. Thanks
Tb test and TB screening report for the kids. Been keeping them inside the brown envelope that IOM supplied them in so forgot to list them. Just a bit bigger than A4 so been trying to protect them as long as possible
