I just wanna ask, for example I have applied for a Standard visitor visa and is granted then it expires. Then I met a British guy and eventually got married, can I apply again for a UK visa but a different category? Please help :(

If you are here in England when you get married with your expired visa you are lucky you did not get reported straight away to immigration and get arrested on your wedding day. If that is the case then you would have to try to apply and include your marriage certificate if lucky they may issue you a spouse visa as a next step. You would need a solicitor's help in this so you have someone to defend you.

You'd need to return to the Philippines before applying for any kind of new visa, I believe,

I message you the best options. And if you have solicitor that deals with immigration is the best way to deal with your issues.

    Confusing.

Maybe a few facts would help.

    1. Have you been to the UK ?

    If so:

    2. Did you overstay your visitor visa ?

what do you mean? tbh i have a boyfriend in the UK we've been together for a year apparently he can't meet me here in the Philippines or any other asian countries due to circumstances so we were thinking of me going there obviously our relationship is not genuine since we haven't met yet. If I were to apply for a tourist visa of my own not telling about visiting him, then if ever my visa application will be granted for 6months I'm afraid that I can't apply for a different category anymore once it expires.

I think any visa application you make is going to have difficulties to the extreme.

it's just sad being on this kind of situation i don't wanna break up with him I love him way too much even tho he's still studying. his dad thinks I will rob him so his dad won't let him go though i can pay for his tickets and our expenses if ever we were to meet somewhere else my bf still depends on his dad tho he is 19 already so it's really difficult but i still love him :'( so i don't want to break up with him i just can't :'(

He IS still a baby... as far as marrying someone from abroad is concerned... IMHO... as a father of a son who was that age not long ago, and living at home with me. FAR TOO YOUNG. If you love him... let him complete his studies without needless distractions. Sorry.

    So do you:
    • Have full time employment?
    • Will your employer grant you a leave of absence?
    • Do you have a bank account with debit and/or credit cards?
    • Does your bank account show an average balance of at least Php 50,000?
    • Do you own property?
    • Will your boyfriend's father agree (in writing) to accommodate you and provide your meals?
If you can aswer "yes" to the above then you should have no problem in applying for a Visit Visa.
