Miims , I'm sorry but I have to agree with the others on here re your boyfriend . If he's upsetting you constantly ,and making you cry now because you haven't yet done what he wants , it will only get worse .

He's obviously not mature enough for a relationship with you or probably anyone else , and certainly not worth giving up a good life in the Philippines for .

How about he mans up , and moves to the Philippines with you . He unlike you has no assets to lose . Let's see how much commitment he has .

I understand that you are attracted to white guys , many Filipinas are , and we men are very happy about that . English men don't see age in the same way as Filipinas , you are still seen as young at your age , and many English girls marry at 30 and above .

By all means look for a white man , but I really think it should be a different one to the one you have now .

Thank you. I talked to him awhile ago about our situation, ive told him im not ready to give up everything i have. And if he really loves me he should petition me to England without me having to give up my assets in the Philippines, And his only response was that i always think negative of him and that i should leave him alone from now on. I was like wow! I dont know what to say anymore. He only loves me when i agree to him about selling my assets, buying a house and moving to England. And if i refuse, he tells me to leave him alone. Well, I guess he's too young for me or he's really not the one for me. Wasted my 4 years. Lesson learned the painful way. Ohh well.

Just keep your assets and see how things go with him. ;)

Why not ask him why it is that he wants you to pay over £1000 for your visa and cover the cost of your wedding and all the other living expenses when he's supposedly earning so much. He's a dreamer but worse than that, he's a conman (in other words a "scammer").

He said most of his salary goes straight to time deposit of some sort.. Said it will get high interest rates in a few years. So all he has was just enough cash for paying his bills and daily food allowance.

Better the lesson learned now rather than later in a potentially unhappy marriage, with regrets and "what ifs" in your mind. Don't look at it as a waste just put it down to experience that you have recognised and learned from. There is someone out there waiting to meet you. Good luck.

He must've had some cash to come visit you in Pinas? I hope you didn't pay for that. We have guys who come on this forum looking for love. Some are unwilling to put in the leg-work to find the one. Generally they've heard nice things about Filipinas but a lot of excuses come forward as to why they can't get to visit there (some are genuine I guess) but they usually get short shrift from members here.

A painfull lesson for sure @Miims , and I'm sorry to read about your situation . The only good thing is you have realised now before it's too late.

I'm sure you have thought about the worse case scenario , where you give everything up that you have now , and make an expensive move to England, only for the relationship to fail , and you return to Philippines to start all over again .

With all the things he has planned for you to pay for , you're gonna lose a lot of money , while he pays for little or nothing .

Regarding the dating sites , they can be good , and many people meet a good partner in that way , but you always need to be careful , and not believe everything people tell you .
Also, only my opinion , you are a great find for the right man , and can do a lot better than you are at the moment .

In other words , his money is for him and your money is ..... Well , for him also
Any hopes of high interest rates on his savings are , I would suggest very optimistic .

Rubbish! Deposit accounts have not been good places to store spare cash for quite some time. My bank, for example, was until quite recently paying one tenth of one percent per annum - and then deducting 40% of that amount as unearned income tax! But (I'm sure) he's dreaming and telling you what is in his dream world rather than the reality. His name isn't Walter Mitty, is it?!

Yes, he pays for his plane ticket when he visits me. But he stays in my house so he doesnt have to book for hotels. Also when we travel in another countries, we pay separately even for hotel, food and transpo. Lol but he treats me sometimes when hes in good mood.
Also, he gave me a ring when he proposed to me 3 years ago, but he took it back when he came to visit me last month.

I suspect you've already been replaced as his girlfriend/fiancée - the fact that he took back your engagement ring and him telling you, today, to leave you alone, rather makes this obvious. You've been dumped, girl, but shed no tears. Instead go out with your friends, pop a champagne cork or two and celebrate your fortuitous escape from what would have been a miserable life!!

I would say the chances of you meeting a better guy, are far greater than his chances of meeting a better girl . Maybe he's not in a good mood often , to avoid treating you haha

Exactly, ive told him that i have an almost perfect life here in the Philippines, and to have a loving partner would just be a bonus for me.. Looking back to our 4 years relationship all i can say, hes only concern about me moving to England. He just keeps pushing me over and over to sell all my stuff.
Its a routine really that when i dont agree to what he wants he would make me feel guilty that im just wasting his life and that most guys in england his age are partying and going out with friends and stuff, he would say that he only focuses on me thats why i wasted his life for not commiting to what he wants. And its sad. Reading all your comments make me feel better really. Cuz ive been hiding this to myself the whole time. Cant really open up to my friends or co workers as i feel its too awkward.

It very much sounds like you know deep down in your heart , that this move isn't right for you at this time .

I think , if you did meet the right guy , you would be happy about making such a big decision , to give up everything you have worked hard for , but it's going to have to be one special guy , who you are 100% sure about , and that certainly isn't this one .
