Was surprised and happy in a way, means if they speeding up the process, me and my daughters application "might" be decided early as well, fingers crossed.

31st January: Received an email from the UK Decision Making Centre saying they are unable to conclude application as additional information required. All the necessary documents were sent with the original application but due to an error by the commercial partner in scanning documents we had to scan and email the required documents.

9th March: Received the following email after paying a fee for their email service to enquire what is happening with the application...

    "Dear Grace P

With regards to your enquiry about the status of your application (GWF046043519), I can confirm that your application is being considered and is currently awaiting a decision.

    Regards,
    Mohammed

    UK Visas and Immigration"

I didn't know whether to laugh or cry when I got to the end of that reply! Total despair would be an understatement! We just want an answer either way so we can carry on with our lives without all this stress.

Very much in agreement with you bigmac. We have become totally disillusioned and now wish we had saved our money towards settling in the Philippines. Am I right in saying we are only entitled to a refund within 3 months of making the application?
