    That's not Durian, it's Jackfruit (I believe). Equally disgusting putrid smell but incredibly good for you.

    No, that's Durian.

    Signs like that are fairly common in Thai and Malaysian hotels, either in rooms, elevators or the reception because the fruit stinks. :sick:

    Supposed to taste nice though.

    I quite like rambutan and dont mind mangosteen but as a thirst quencher you can’t beat calamansi juice on a hot day.

    my wife says its definitely Durian. health warning--do not drink coke with this. there have been fatalities.

    she used to grow jack fruit and rambutan in her garden.

    I thought I had solved the durian problem by eating it whilst holding my nose at the same time.
    It tasted nice but later the smell was so bad when I burped. Ahhhhh........

    Yes Durian is banned from most hotels I've stayed at in Asia , also Mangosteen .
