    Certainly, in my eyes, the idiot that was holding that piece of paper with "he is Lyeing" written on it, didn't do himself any favours.

    That was Seb Dance, a London Labour MEP, and his beef appears to be his dissatisfaction with EU Parliament's procedures whereby the leaders of the various groupings are accorded three minutes of uninterrupted speaking time; Nigel Farage is the leader of the Europe of Freedom and Direct Democracy group. He explains himself in this Guardian Op-Ed.

    Seb Dance flouted Parliamentary rules in order to stage a protest against an opponent whose views he does not share. And as I said above, Farage rather forcefully - maybe too forcefully - pointed out some uncomfortable truths including the unequal treatment of Israelis - and anyone else with Israeli stamps in their Passport - by certain Muslim countries over which no protest has been voiced.

    Yes I did but he did not offer any justification for his accusatory "He's lying to you"; an opportunity wasted.
